| On this page you will find kits/chins from new born to 1 year old. As a rule, they will be available to take home at 7 to 8 weeks old. Unless one is underweight, or I think it needs momma a little longer. Chinchillas are a long-term commitment. They can live to be 20+ years old. |

| When we get old enough, Momma Jo says, we get to be adopted. Adopted by someone that will love us and take care of us forever and always! Being adopted is extra special ... because you know they wanted a kit before they even saw you. And when they saw you, they fell in love with you! They said, "This is the kit I want to add to my family!" |
