Chinchilla Cages.

Ranch Run Cages
The females each have a cage.
The male is able to move from cage
to cage to visit the females, via a
"hall" that goes along the back of the
cages.  Each level is a separate run.

Once the female is pregnant
and close to delivering, the
male will move to the other
side of the cage, but they can
retain each other's scents
through the "window" on the
top right side of the cage.
This little chin, among others,
learned to pop the regular latch
open on her cage.
A key-chain hook
works great for a second lock.
